To inform consumers how NME works
Former employee. It is very high pressure on the caller to get that credit card number no matter what.
The thing is if you don't give them your credit card number they can't charge you for anything why do people feel obligated to give a credit card number over the phone. They count on people not listening to what the call representative is saying the pitch is very long and convoluted but it states up front exactly what your card is going to be hit for and the amount and for how long. Super shady.
But once again buyer beware that's how they get away with this. People say their relative has Alzheimer's but as a call representative at a company we're not doctors and we don't make that determination if they give their credit card they're going to get charged it's sick and it's low down.

I got the sweepstakes letter to win $1.1 mil. just call the 1800 number and NO PURCHASE nessessary to enter.
So I call and wasted 10 minutes explaining to these *** that I DO NOT want any magazines I just want to enter in the sweepstakes. The woman kept giving me names of magazines and saying "pick 2" then I said " NO I do not want any magazines I just want to enter for the prize" then I was told " we have allure ,teen vogue, cosmo, good house keeping, rolling stones, pick 2" I got so pissed that I said forget it I dont want ANYTHING and hung up!
What a waste of time! They will NOT enroll you for the sweepstakes unless you buy a magazine and that is fraud to me when their letter says you dont have to buy anything!!!!
Yup,almost had my boyfriend today guys,all I want to know is HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE SLEEP KNOWING WHAT YOU DO????? Do the people a favor,stop what you are doing and find a Honest Real what we call these days A JOB dead beats......... And you have a nice day

Yo mercado porque yo yego una carta para participaren un sorteo pero yo pregunte si alguien hablaba español y me dijo la persona que me respondió que si sabía inglés si no sabía inglés que para que estaba en este país que esta carta solo era pará persona que hablarán inglés y no para personas que no sabían hablar inglés y que si no sabía inglés que no volviera a marcar porque que IVA a sacar mi nombre de la lista de las personas que le enviaron la carta yo no sé si es una estafa o si es verdad lo que si se esque hijo rasistas

Does anyone read the fine print on the back of the sweepstakes form. They screwed up big time if some where to really win they could be sued since it states they could be paid 30 payments of 36,000.00 of the 1.100.00.00 they don't write 520,000.00 they wrote 500,000,00 I will take the second choice since it's 500.00.000 billion not million. They really need a proof reader.

Read the fine print people. If someone to win this the could sue the pants off these folks
On the back side of the letter it has the rules as well as the payout option you can take 30 payments of the 1.100.00.00 million or you can take a lump sum of 500.000.00 that's billion not million. They need a proof reader.

Also my husband was very upset with me. Please cancel my order. You also told me that I was not required to purchase anything in order to enter this prize payment sweepstakes.

I did not receive all that was told that I would recieve for signing up for a drawing that was being done by NME.dont answer to quickly think about offer first before you accept it.trust you instinct if it doesn't feel right making the don't do it.
